Epson is set to introduce seven new EcoTank Printers in Europe, expanding its range with the ET-3950 and ET-4950 series, which debuted in the US earlier in the year. These models cater to home offices and small businesses, complemented by the entry-level ET-2950 Series tailored for families.
These printers feature refillable ink tanks, a departure from traditional cartridge systems. Users can conveniently refill the tanks using bottled ink, offering significant cost savings compared to cartridge printers. Epson boasts that one set of ink bottles can replace up to 63 cartridges, with the cost equivalent to 8,500 black and 6,500 color pages. The ET-2950 Series can print 6,600 black and 5,500 color pages, while the ET-3950 and ET-4950 Series deliver up to 15,100 black pages.
Aside from cost efficiency, the new models vary in printing speeds. The ET-2950 Series features mono print speeds of 15 ppm and color print speeds of 8 ppm, while the ET-3950 and ET-4950 Series offer faster printing at 18 ppm and 9 ppm, respectively. All models support automatic double-sided scanning and copying, dual-band Wi-Fi, and can be managed through the Epson Smart Panel App.
The ET-2950/51/56 EcoTank Printers are priced at £319.99/€359.99, while the ET-3950/56 and ET-4950/56 models retail for £439.99/€499.99 and £459.99/€529.99, respectively. In the US, the ET-4950 is available for $399.99 on Amazon, down from its regular price of $499.99.
