Sublimation paper is a specialised product utilised for transferring images onto garments or sublimation-treated products (i.e. mugs, hats, tiles). When an image is printed with sublimation ink onto ‘sublimation paper,’ the image can be transferred in its full glory using a heat press.

The process involves the application of heat and pressure, causing the dyes in the image to convert to a gas. The heat applied to the object being printed causes the ‘pores’ of the object to open. The quick removal of the heat causes these ‘pores’ to close, trapping
