Epson has introduced ReadyPrint, a subscription-based service offering unlimited color printing at a fixed monthly cost. This initiative aims to simplify and make color printing more cost-effective for both households and businesses.
The ReadyPrint plan includes an EcoTank wireless all-in-one Supertank printer, unlimited color printing, premium support, and automatic ink replacement. Subscribers can enjoy these benefits for a set monthly fee, eliminating the need for upfront printer purchases.
Under this service, customers can select from various EcoTank models, which are delivered directly to their doorstep based on a two-year agreement. The subscription plans range from $14.99 per month for home use to $54.99 per month for wide-format printing suitable for business needs.
One of the key features of ReadyPrint is automatic ink monitoring. When ink levels are low, replacement bottles are dispatched to ensure uninterrupted printing. Additionally, subscribers receive premium customer support and troubleshooting throughout the duration of their plan.
ReadyPrint offers four plan tiers catering to different needs. The Home plan includes the EcoTank ET-2980U, while the Home Office plan provides the ET-3850U with Ethernet connectivity and an auto document feeder. For businesses, the ET-5850U in the Business plan offers faster printing speeds, higher paper capacity, fax support, and two-sided scanning.
For those requiring wide-format printing, the Business Wide plan features the ET-16650U, capable of handling larger documents up to 13″ x 19″. All printers in the ReadyPrint program support wireless printing, copying, scanning, and automatic two-sided printing.
Moreover, borderless photo printing is available across the printer range, with advanced features like touchscreen control panels and increased speeds included in higher-tier models to enhance productivity.
The ReadyPrint service is currently accessible in the US and entails a two-year commitment for all unlimited plans. More information on specifications and frequently asked questions can be found on Epson’s website.
